 - I give my Hindi writing to a restaurant. I told them to also show it to a nearby local type shop. Later, when I was passing the shop, they said aur de do -aur de do - give us more give us more (information).​

 - My Government  Department secretary ( the top man below the minister) read some of my work, and excused me from a serious complaint made about me, by one of my bosses. He also gave me a certificate on his letter head.​

 - They used to come running to listen to my jokes at the Gym.​

 - At the hospital toilet, i told one guy i would tell him a joke. He then said the name of one of my jokes himself!

Double meaning

The Bus Conductor said ”aage se KHALI- piche se khali” (the front is empty, and rear is empty) or (the front has been eaten, the back has been eaten) so I said aur kuch khane ko nahi raha (nothing else left to eat) - twist, (1/) due to the double meaning and 2/dress (massage) to be presentable.

Skin is folded over at the elbow (why) otherwise it would feel stretched.

Remembering the name of a girl - Serena - I thought of her face – then I reached the name. Unusual, but true.

 

 

Clever girl /girls family!

My ”girlfriend” - from a not too well off family, didn't give me any of her particulars like where she stayed, or number but she / they used to call on the phone asking that is your number "this"? They gave a different number every time (nearly my number); each time it was different by 1 digit, that digit being a part of her actual number ... then she expected me to (and i did) find the address from the telephone number (in 1991) by looking through all the numbers in the phone book - I found Lal, Jain, Surya Nagar - then I went to the place - they had put “welcome” on their door - I went in and sat down - they said they were expecting someone to come and meet me; this turned out to be the girl's father - he pushed me around a bit - they insulted the girl - they wanted to see if I would still take up for the girl –I did — eventually, as my leg was bad  (I think I said so) - then I left - I couldn't get onto my bike - I used the other leg and got on- they were visibly (to quite a large extent) impressed (were with admiration) ..

 

 

The impression you get when you look at a hyenas face - it looks as if it's only an outline because of the contrast / pattern in it.

Peking (peeking) duck, a duck inside a crate looking out through the slats (I.E. flat wood pieces).

My ridiculous father said that there is a curse on the family due to a dispute in gold (!) dinosaur (ancient) mentality …

 I was scratching myself through my trousers and somebody was laughing at me so I said - only guys with hair on their balls (with guts, masculine) would do that !

Tic Tac mint - this mint probably stays in your mouth the longest.

Tall person - still a child - doesn’t learn much, as everyone is too scared to interact with him (live examples with me : sisters first husband, old attendant, very tall guy on the road near my old gym – totally dumb brains).

My senior boss  used to blow up (exaggerate) whatever he wanted you to do and try to get the maximum out of you in the beginning only - and if he didn't succeed he would make the pressure less and so on – since it’s his standard procedure, he didn’t get annoyed when you don’t give him ~what he wants (he is happy with doing his tactics / tricks).

Tasmanian devil - totally vicious creature with red ears (inside) (as big as a small dog).

How to avoid a sneeze when its coming badly (or not)  –  twist the  tip of your nose left and right  ~5 times , more, if necessary, plus inhale exhale a  few times.

People were shouting in the bus for quite some time - when they eventually stopped I said ‘Wah Bhai Shanti’ (how great - silence!) - two people turned around and smiled.

​

Never have Orange squash without salt – add salt a bit at a time otherwise it will froth and overflow …

​

Playing badminton with a girl in college, with one hand in my pocket – the girl who I was playing with didn’t like that at all - she complained to her boyfriend that I was acting smart  / big (!)

Kids who sell flowers at traffic light said ‘Bahut Phool Beche’ (sold lots of flowers) no need to help them.

Filter coffee (Current status – success story

To make filter coffee, buy a thin plastic Jaali (fine net / strainer (big flat net, circular, half foot width (a smaller jaali can be used, but the coffee produced is not as good)) (probably available in INA market Delhi, or on Amazon) put the coffee powder in to the jaali  (“Arabica dark roast” from Devans (Delhi) is the best – Amazon also has this)  and pour hot water on top of it. Coffee liquid / decoction collects in the container below. You must get the powder amount and water amount correct by trial and error. Get condensed milk. Sugar. My coffee maker broke - I tried many more (three to four). The coffee was not good in any of them. Basically, the filter was wrong. You need a half foot diameter (cylindrical) strainer with a round jali of half foot too. Then gently pour the hot water on the coffee in the strainer, moving the vessel (preferably with a spout) containing hot water, in a circle. Now, as the large coffee maker (half foot width), I am using the “PANCA Filter Coffee Maker, 6-8 cups” from amazon. The coffee produced is not as good.

मैंने सोचा था  कि पुरुष-शेर (चित्र प्रसार पे देखा हुआ) थोड़ा नकली या अप्राकृतिक (जैसे प्राकृतिक) नहीं हैं - क्योंकि आगे का बाल ज्यादा अधिक है, लेकिन गरज का आवाज के साथ सब सही होता है!  भगवन का असलीपना ।

​

अगर कोई आपको कुछ अच्छा चीज बोलता है, तो अपने आप सोचके, उसकी प्रयास का “सामना” न करें, यह दिखाने के लिए कि आप भी चतुर हैं। उसके गुण मानें। कोई भी नकली जवाब, दिखावट के लिए, मत दीजिए।

लोगों का शाखा

अतुल (कैंटीन अधिकारी) इतना पीछे (कमजोर मन का) है – वोह चश्मा भी पहनता है - (जीवन में दुसरे से कम दुश्मनी होता है) - लोगों में वोह क्रोध नहीं सिलघता हैं, उसका आसान रास्ता है - आम व्यक्ति के जैसे नहीं होता है - भगवान की दुनिया में उसके जीवन के लिए भी यह सुविधाएं है !

​

मूंगफली वाला - बकरी वाला आदि - एक ज्याडा भी निचले स्तर पर है - मैंने उससे कहा कि गर्म दाणे नरम हो जाते है। यह मेरे सामने जलते बर्तन के नीचे से मूंगफाली लिये जा रहा था, और उल्टा बोलता रहा, कि वह गरम नहीं दे रहा था!

​

बेरह-आम (एक पारसी नाम) (उसकी बाजू बालों-बिना हैं, अंग्रेजी में “बएर" हाथ) या भालू की तरह बाह (भालू-बाह) । दुगना अर्थ - (चुटकुले या हास्य)

    • ‘Former’ means the first.

 Truth ?! Comes down to being  REALISTIC (face facts).

“No Honesty”? It's Stupid. You're fooling yourself all the time. 

He said Truth comes from “not fooling yourself”. It’s the other way as above, but it’s more direct.

 

 A “~” before a phrase means that the actual meaning of it is “something like” the phrase.

 

The word before, and the word after, a long bracket, is underlined, and also is in italics. So, when reading the text the first time, ignore the text in the brackets.

 

“One up” Immediately trying to take control and win by any means. तुरंत कोई भी तारिका से बदला लेना.

 

Words in Italics, or the characters “…” are used to show the beginning and ending of brackets which are very long.

 

 

“Hijdas are a definite development stage in life. They have a huge mental controversy as their test !

 

By channels, I  mean, you have an easier way through life by compromising one aspect of your behaviour to learn others, easier.

 

My sister herself says “women drivers”!

 

Hijdas may choose one of both options - it depends on their  individual level of shame …
